London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine -Department of Social and Environmental Health Research
Salary: £31,376 to £36,018 per annum
We are seeking to appoint a Research Assistant to join the Environmental Health Research team at LSHTM to work on a large, multidisciplinary project investigating the health effects of high end scenarios of climate change in Europe (EU-funded IMPRESSIONS project).
The candidate should have an excellent record of research and peer-reviewed publications in mathematical modeling applied to public health, environmental health or environmental sciences. Candidates should also have experience of using geographic information systems and dealing with large datasets.
The appointment will be full time, commencing February 2014 for 30 months.
Appointment will be subject to LSHTM terms and conditions, including membership of the Universities Superannuation Scheme, an annual leave allowance of 30 days pro rata plus 6 fixed ‘Director’s Days’ and season ticket loan.
