Function Description
As Plant Supervisor, you will responsible for all equipment related matters of the project site. You will also maintain communication with plant department(s) to ensure effective communication on all plant related matters. You also involve in ensuring that the site equipment safety and environment policy and system is adhered to. Your main tasks and accountabilities as plant supervisor will be:
- Advise the Project Management on all equipment matters in absence of a Plant Manager
- Monitor the maintenance of all the project used equipment to prevent breakdowns and extra costs.
- Supervise and ensure that an adequate level of spare parts and consumables is available on site
- Support projects on organising equipment, constructing equipment, mob and demob, and permits
- Review and provide monthly reports on fuel and servicing costs
- Supervise and support on loading/unloading of equipment
- Ensure compliance with rental contract conditions
Job Requirements
As Plant Supervisor, you have the following qualifications and competencies:
- Have a degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience minimum 15 years in the construction / equipment industry
- Have experience working on large value construction projects or other suitable project work / large factories with heavy machinery
- Have relevant technical skills (Mechanical/Hydraulics/Electronics)
- Have a comprehensive knowledge of relevant legal regulations
- Willing to work hard and able to work under tight schedule
- Leadership, problem analysis, adaptability, results orientation, persuasiveness
- A working in Indonesia is preferable
- Fluent in English (verbally and in writing) and Bahasa Indonesia
